This article will teach you how to connect Asset Properties directly into your BuiltSpace Checklists. For an idea on how to leverage this feature, you can read the following article

Connecting Asset Properties to Checklists


  1. Hover over Apps and click Procedures.

  2. Find the Question you would like to connect to an Asset Property, and click Edit Question.


  3. Then, click Enable Integrated Data.



  4. You will then have to select an Asset Property Group and an Asset Property.
    Click Manage if you'd like to add to or edit your Asset Properties.


  5. Once you've selected an Asset Property, there are 3 options to choose from: Display, Update and Verify.
    • Display means the App user will see the Asset Property value
    • Update means the App user's answer to that question will update that Asset Property's value, but it will not be displayed to the user.
    • Verify means the App user's answer to that question will update that Asset Property's value, and it will also be displayed to them.
  6. Once you're done with the setup, click Update.
